Manchaca Methodist Church

Ja-Mar Roofing & Sheet Metal had been providing roof repairs for Manchaca Methodist Church for many years. In 2016, the church received an insurance claim that allowed it to move forward with a full roof replacement.

Once the existing roofing materials were removed, our crews uncovered extensive areas of rotted decking that required repair before the new roofing system could be installed. Addressing those underlying conditions was important to give the new roof a solid foundation and provide the church with a lasting solution.

The steeple created another challenge. Restoration work required our crews to operate from a 125-foot telescopic boom lift, allowing us to safely access the elevated sections of the structure while completing the necessary repairs.

The completed project featured GAF Timberline HD shingles in Barkwood along with enhanced GAF Z-Ridge. The new roofing, restored steeple, and replacement gutters and downspouts gave the church an updated appearance while providing dependable protection for the property.
