Hurricane Harvey School Projects

These projects were especially challenging as there were many layers of complexity to manage. Complexity not only in the roofing specifications and Texas windstorm requirements but also in the relationships between the General Contractor, engineering firm, and the insurance pool who was controlling the funding for the Hurricane Harvey wind claims. We were delayed on these projects with numerous rain events, labor challenges, and various change orders. However, upon completion Ja-Mar has provided these schools with updated roofing systems, solid manufacturer-backed NDL warranties, and strict compliance to the current windstorm building code requirements. Challenging projects but successful installations.
