Hotel Ella

This historic property was once the home of Goodall Wooten, the son of one of the founders of the University of Texas. With its distinctive Greek architecture, the property has long been one of Austin’s architectural gems.

Hotel Ella was experiencing numerous roof leaks but needed a solution that would cause as little disruption to hotel operations as possible. Our crew was provided only a very small section of the valet parking area for mobilization, material staging, and the work required to complete the roofing project.

A Carlisle 60 Mil TPO overlay proved to be the right solution. It allowed Ja-Mar Roofing & Sheet Metal to address the existing leaks without an extensive tear-off, while preserving the historic character of the property and minimizing interference with day-to-day hotel operations.
