For qualifying 2026 installations, GAF currently offers a $250 rebate when an eligible military homeowner installs a qualifying GAF roofing system and purchases an eligible Enhanced Warranty.
Ja-Mar has served Texas property owners since 1970 and is a GAF Master Elite® contractor. That certification allows us to install qualifying GAF roofing systems and offer the Enhanced Warranty options included in the Roofs for Troops program.
How the GAF Roofs for Troops Rebate Works in 2026
The current GAF program applies to qualifying roofing systems installed between January 1, 2026 and December 31, 2026 on a U.S. residence owned by a qualifying individual.
Who Qualifies for the GAF Military Roofing Rebate?
Under GAF’s current 2026 terms, qualifying individuals must be legal U.S. residents and own the U.S. residence where the qualifying GAF roofing system is installed.
Active U.S. Military
Current active members of the United States military who meet the program’s ownership and installation requirements.
Honorably Discharged Veterans
Veterans who were honorably discharged from the United States military and meet the other current program requirements.
Military Retirees
Retirees of the United States military who own the qualifying residence and meet the current program terms.

GAF’s Roofs for Troops rebate is tied to both the roofing system and the Enhanced Warranty selected. As a GAF Master Elite® contractor, Ja-Mar can install roofing systems that qualify for the program and can offer each of the Enhanced Warranty levels currently listed by GAF.

Which GAF Enhanced Warranties Qualify?
GAF currently lists three Enhanced Warranty paths for the 2026 Roofs for Troops rebate. Each requires qualifying GAF shingles plus a minimum number of qualifying GAF accessory products.
System Plus Limited Warranty
Qualifying GAF shingles plus at least 3 qualifying GAF accessory products.
May be installed by a GAF Certified™, GAF Certified Plus™, or GAF Master Elite® contractor.
Silver Pledge™ Limited Warranty
Qualifying GAF shingles plus at least 4 qualifying GAF accessory products.
Must be installed by a GAF Certified Plus™ or GAF Master Elite® contractor.
Golden Pledge® Limited Warranty
Qualifying GAF shingles plus at least 5 qualifying GAF accessory products.
Must be installed by a GAF Master Elite® contractor.
Qualifying accessory categories currently include ridge cap shingles, attic ventilation, starter strip shingles, roof deck protection, and leak barrier. The exact qualifying products are determined by GAF.
How to Claim the GAF Roofs for Troops Rebate
The roofing project and warranty need to meet the program requirements before the rebate claim is submitted. Ja-Mar can help make sure the roofing system and warranty selection are coordinated correctly.
Confirm Military Eligibility
Verify that the homeowner meets GAF’s current definition of a qualifying active military member, honorably discharged veteran, or military retiree.
Select a Qualifying GAF Roofing System
Choose qualifying GAF shingles, the required accessory products, and an eligible Enhanced Warranty before installation.
Complete the Roof Installation
The qualifying roof must be installed on the eligible homeowner’s residence during the 2026 program period.
Register the Enhanced Warranty
GAF requires the contractor to register the qualifying Enhanced Warranty within 45 days of installation.
Submit the Rebate Claim
GAF must receive the completed rebate claim within 90 days of the warranty issuance date shown on the warranty letter.
