About Steve

Steve Yaeger joined Ja-Mar Roofing & Sheet Metal in 2020, bringing 35 years of roofing experience to the Corpus Christi team. He started in the industry in 1980 as an installer, learning the trade from the ground up. That early hands-on experience shaped how he approaches every project today. He understands what it takes on the roof, not just behind a desk.

In 1995, Steve transitioned into sales, focusing primarily on residential re-roofing projects across Texas and Colorado. Over the years, he has worked with thousands of homeowners, helping them navigate roof replacements, storm damage, and long-term maintenance decisions. He also gained valuable experience as a service department manager in Colorado, overseeing repairs, warranties, and customer follow-up work.

When Steve says his certification comes from the “school of hard knocks,” he means it. Decades in the field have taught him what works, what fails, and what shortcuts end up costing homeowners later. His primary area of expertise is residential roofing, and he knows the details that keep a home protected along the Texas Coast where wind, heat, and storms are constant factors.

As a Production Manager in Corpus Christi, Steve focuses on keeping projects organized, efficient, and on schedule. He works closely with crews to make sure installation standards are followed and homeowners stay informed throughout the process.
