About Kevin
Kevin Pruitt joined Ja-Mar Roofing & Sheet Metal in 2023 and brings 30 years of roofing experience to homeowners and property owners throughout Austin. Roofing is not just something he learned along the way. It has been part of his life since he was 16 years old, working on roofs early on and continuing to build knowledge and skill throughout his career.
Coming from a family with a roofing background, Kevin has spent decades around the trade, learning both the hands-on side and the decision-making side of projects. That experience gives him a practical, real-world understanding of what it takes to complete a job correctly and efficiently.
As a Senior Project Manager, Kevin stays closely involved in each project, helping guide it from start to finish. He understands the importance of communication, timing, and follow-through, especially when it comes to protecting someone’s home. His experience allows him to anticipate challenges and keep projects moving without unnecessary delays.
His main area of expertise is roofing, built from years of working directly in the field and continuing to stay engaged in the process today. He believes that understanding the work at a hands-on level makes a difference when managing projects and working with crews.
