About Ken
Ken Kelly has worked in construction since he was 18 years old and moved into construction sales at 24, building a background that includes siding, windows, gutters, fences, painting, flooring, and even new home construction for a builder. He got his start in roofing about 17 years ago, learning what to look for on hail-damaged roofs and going out to inspect roofs and meet with insurance adjusters.
Ken spent 12 years working for several top national General Contractors, traveling across Texas and Colorado wherever the work took him. Along the way, he handled thousands of insurance claims, learned from hundreds of adjusters, and became well-versed in the insurance software used for estimates and what different carriers look for.
He has handled both commercial and residential roofing claims over the years, but today he works primarily in residential roofing, serving single-family homes as well as multi-family properties such as apartment complexes and condominiums.
Ken joined Ja-Mar Roofing & Sheet Metal more than five years ago and has been glad to find a company that shares his approach: taking care of homeowners and going above and beyond for them.
